Every number on this site traces to a primary source, cited where it is shown. We do not estimate, round up, or carry a stale date forward to fill a gap. Where a figure is not published, the site says it is not published. If you find something that does not match its source, tell us and we will fix it.

Match statistics

Positions offered, positions filled, and fill rate come from the NRMP Advance Data Tables, 2026 Main Residency Match . Applicant-side figures (Step 2 CK means, research counts, match rates) come from the NRMP Charting Outcomes and AAMC reports, cited inline at the point they are shown. Cycle dates are checked against ACEPS and the NRMP applicant calendar.

Programs

All 93 integrated plastic surgery programs are ACGME-accredited programs; the list and each program's institution, city, and state were compiled from ACGME accreditation data, with program websites taken from the ASPS integrated-residency directory. Accessed July 2026. Programs open and close between cycles, so we re-pull rather than assume.

Research-year fellowships

The 51 positions come from the Plastics Research Fellowships spreadsheet , compiled by medical students at Thomas Jefferson University (Sidney Kimmel Medical College) and shared by PRS Med Ed. We snapshot it rather than mirror it live, so the page states the snapshot date (July 2026) and links back to the original. Dates in that sheet describe a program's typical annual cycle, not a confirmed upcoming deadline, and the page says so.

Conference abstract deadlines

Each of the 29 conferences was checked against that society's own submission page for its deadline, submission rules, and student eligibility. Where a society has not yet posted the next cycle's date, we leave it blank and say so instead of carrying last year's date forward.
